Need advice on Candle making

I have never made my own candles before and was hoping someone could give me some advice.Maybe clue me in to a good web site. I am just delighted with the varity of candles that can be made. I really like the look on your muffin candles Annie. Are they hard? I feel like I am really missing out.

First things for starting candle making are a coffee can (metal) and a pan to set the coffee in (this is after ya get the supplies).Now basicly what ya need to make a candle are wicks (medium sized works best for now),wax (or you can use gel),and colorblocks and if you want fragrance.

For the muffins its not hard but it takes practice so you dont get burned lol.I will try and make a tutorial for the homepage for you gurli with pics for ya.

First thing i did was learned as much as i could about candle making from the internet (i started out with loving primitive candles) and then decide what kinds of candles you like.Then get supplies (keep it simple supply wise)and then try making your first candle.You could try a kit but i think there just kinda really expensive for what ya get.You can get 10 pounds of wax from micheals and craft stores for 11.00.If you need help or are stuck just give me an email and ill help ya out kira lol,hugs!

Its so much fun to do it gurli,and its really nice to do something that has been apart of our history for ages.You can do almost anything with wax!Your going to have alot of fun lol!blessings
